I had started learning to drive a few years ago but never really enjoyed my lessons so gave up, but now I need my driving licence for my new job so was motivated to start again.  I had driven a lot with my Mum over the past few months and asked Daphne to help prepare me for the test - we got lost several times in Burgess Hill while trying to follow test routes, but it was worth it when I passed!! Thanks Daphne for all your help - and for putting up with me!

Learning with Daphne was a fun, quick and easy way to getting my licence.  She made all the lessons different which was great because you get to drive in loads of different settings, making you a good, safe driver quite quickly.  Daphne''s no-nonsense approach was amazing too - just get behind the wheel and learn to drive! Good times - I passed 1st time in 4 months and had fun at the same time too!

I started learning to drive with a different instructor but felt I wasnt getting the most out of my lessons so I decided to change.  I was recommended to learn with Daphne and she always picked up on the things I was doing wrong and made me more confident about my driving.  Our lessons were always fun and we drove on lots of different types of roads to prepare me for when I get my own car.  I passed quickly with Daphne and recommend her to anyone who wants to learn to drive.

I love driving - but I miss my lessons with Daphne now that I''ve passed - 1st time too!! I''d had a different instructor before but then Daphne was recommended to me and I''m glad I swapped over when I did - we did lots of mock tests in Eastbourne so I knew what would be expected of me on the day and I was driving a lot in my own car with my Mum so I had plenty of practise. Since I passed I''ve driven up to London twice and really enjoy being able to go out on my own whenever I feel like it - thanks a lot Daphne xxx

I’d taken 2 tests with another instructor and failed them both! I was beginning to really dread my lessons, but when I started to drive with Daphne it all changed! She made me feel very comfortable and definitely prepared me for ‘real life’ driving ha ha!! I really appreciate everything and don’t think I would have done it without her constant encouragement and her genuine consideration and care. She is lovely and I really miss our chats on a Monday evening! I have recommended her to so many of my friends its unreal! Thank you so so much Daphne xxxx

I was only with Daphne for a short time but she made my driving very enjoyable and I always looked forward to my next lesson.  This was my 4th test, but my 1st with Daphne and she made me understand things a whole lot better. Everything was explained in detail so that I wouldn''t forget.

I cant believe how incredible it feels to pass 1st time! I first started learning to drive when I was 17 with a male instructor but I never felt comfortable in the car or when driving with him.  When I found Daphne it felt like everything went into synch -  we have had some memorable times - times which you would think we''d have made up but no, each one true!! I will miss Daphne very much as she has become a great friend to me and supported me through everything. I am so happy I have learnt with her - thank you very much! Georgie xxx

I found Daphne through her website and wanted to do Intensive lessons as I was due to move house and needed to pass quickly. I passed 1st time and have just finished my Pass Plus course with her. I am really glad I got round to doing it as I enjoyed my lessons and being able to drive will make such a difference to my life!

I decided to learn to drive at the end of the Summer 2009 and, due to wanting to pass quickly, decided to have Intensive lessons. I chose Daphne as my next door neighbour had Intensive lessons and passed 1st time with her.  Lessons were great fun and such a laugh! I passed 1st time after less than 3 weeks of lessons and am sure its down to Daphne''s ''real life'' way of teaching! Not only is she a great instructor but also a good friend now. Thanks Daphne!! xx

I passed 1st time & recommend Daphne to anyone learning to drive. She is a friendly & bubbly character so the driving never gets boring! When things go wrong Daphne doesnt get annoyed but explains everything & talks you through it. She is patient & understanding & takes things at your own pace & doesnt rush you. She managed to calm my nerves in lessons & even when I had a full car on my test! Daphne was definitely the best choice for me & many of my friends are learning with her & say the same thing! Thanks Daphne & see you on the road!! xx

Daphne is a lovely, genuine, laid-back & patient lady & I passed my test 1st time thanks to the constant encouragement & confidence she gave me. She would push me to do things I thought I couldnt do - but I could! We did a lot of day-time & night-time driving in both busy & quiet situations & covered every area between Brighton & Eastbourne, doing mock tests & covering test routes.  Daphne was very flexible & would always find the time to fit me in for my weekly lessons & I will miss our chats & laughs! Thanks for all your patience Daphne xxx

A lot of my friends had been taught by Daphne and they really got along with her and after a few lessons I found out why. She''s a very good instructor, very patient, very good at explaining the right way to do things and doesn''t mind if it takes a while for stuff to sink in. She''s always keen to take you new places, lets you have a go at most things; including driving up insanely snowy roads on the Pass Plus course! Her mock tests are very good, really sets you up for the real thing so you know exactly what to do to make sure you pass! I passed 1st time in a smidging over 6 months, after some fun-filled hours!
